Nikki’s five Faves for Summer
Memorial Day Weekend is quickly approaching, officially kicking off the summer season! We look forward to hot sunny days full of baseball games, swimming, boating, gardening, and all the other seasonal activities we get to enjoy for a few short months. Vitamin D synthesis is in full-swing and so is our UV exposure. Our skin takes on that nice bronze glow, but also some more cumulative damage. Be sure your products and services are adjusted for the summer months to give you the best protection and help you maintain your glimmer WITHOUT the damage! Here are my top five recommendations for caring for your skin this season:

SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic: In addition to SPF, you also need antioxidant protection against environmental aggressors! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects us from UV damage and ozone pollution, and CE Ferulic contains 15% pure ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). I love that it’s a liquid formula and just a few droplets absorb quickly into my skin, allowing me to layer my other products easily without pilling. Vitamin C is also essential for collagen production and this product is shown to increase firmness, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, and enhance skin radiance.
