DiamondGlow is a Girl’s Best Friend
It’s time to talk about our other most popular service, and one of our very favorite, DiamondGlow! I get very excited and kind of geek out over this treatment, because it’s not only great for everyone, it delivers immediately noticeable results! Plus it feels amazing!
What is a DiamondGlow?
DiamondGlow is a medical-grade facial and body treatment that targets concerns such as dry skin, rough texture, uneven skin tone, acne, sun damage, and general signs of aging (you know, lines and wrinkles). This non-invasive skin resurfacing procedure effectively exfoliates skin (using actual real diamonds on the tip of the hand-piece) while suctioning away dirt and debris. Simultaneously, Pro-Infusion serums are delivered into your skin to the dermal-epidermal junction to stimulate collagen, elastin, and nourish deep within. The pattern used to treat your skin facilitates lymphatic drainage to detoxify your skin from any impurities. At the end of your treatment, you get to look inside your treatment jar for a satisfying glimpse of all the yucky stuff that was removed! We love sharing our own waste jar pics!
What Results Can I expect?
With just the first treatment, you can expect to leave our office with skin that is brighter, fresher, smoother, and more radiant. You’ll notice improved hydration and clearer pores. These changes will continue to improve over the next 72 hours. I imagine you will be complimented by at least one person in the days following your treatment (and we love when you share the comments!). With more treatments over time (we recommend every 2-4 weeks initially, followed by monthly maintenance for those who REALLY want to transform their skin, and I can assure you it will), you will find improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improved texture, decreasing skin discoloration, and overall improvement in dull/congested skin. In clinical studies, 100% of patients reported skin that felt more firm and radiant, as well as feelings having received a deep clean.
Which Serums Can I choose from?
There are currently FIVE different serums to choose from (don’t worry, we will help you decide which serum your skin needs), with more in the works! There are two signature serums; TNS Advanced+, full of growth factors to target the general signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging; and HA Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate dry skin, plump, and also reduce lines! The core serums include Brightening to improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation (visible sun damage, melasma, and pigmented acne scarring); Vitamin C to rejuvenate and protect from environmental damage (my go-to for all you sports moms!); and pore clarifying to treat both inflammatory and comedonal (AKA blackheads) acne.
When is the Best Time for Treatment
Right now. Seriously. You can have a DiamondGlow anytime of year. You can even have a DiamondGlow while pregnant and nursing (just not the pore-clarifying serum, which contains Bakuchiol, a natural retinol). This treatment is great a few days prior to any event where you want to be glowing (Holiday parties are coming up!). We love for you to get a DiamondGlow at the initiation of a skincare regimen to exfoliate away dead skin so your skincare can do its work, rather than sitting on top of dead skin cells. We also like you to get one prior to initiation of a series of laser treatments! And I know I said DiamondGlow is a girl’s best friend, but it’s also for men! My husband and 15 year old son love them! There is no downtime with this treatment, so you can return to normal activities and apply makeup immediately afterwards (but we don’t think you’ll want to!).
What areas can be treated?
One of the other best things about DiamondGlow is that it can be used on the body! We love using it for back acne (bring us your teenagers and athletes), keratosis pilaris of the arms and legs (do you have that rough itchy chicken skin on your upper arms or thighs), the décolleté, and even the abdomen! When you check in, you will be provided a menu where you can select any body upgrade treatments.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
YES! Oftentimes we will combine DiamondGlow with dermaplaning or even an Illuminize peel to take your exfoliation to the next level. You’ll also now have the option to combine it with facials and back facials, courtesy of our esthetician, Tera!
Anything Else?
DiamondGlow is part of the Allē rewards program, so you can redeem points towards your treatment. Each DiamondGlow treatment you receive will earn you 150 points (100 points equals $10 to use towards future products and services).
